Can’t help but think this will go about as smoothly as the Comey and James attempts. They don’t seem to realize that you can’t effectively threaten someone to bend to your will if all the other threats you’ve made amounted to wet farts.

Truth be told, Elon having all that power scared me more, because at least most of the evil bastards working now recognize that there needs to be at least a little government as opposed to Musk's "burn it all and start over with no plan" approach.

Honestly, I feel less scared now than I have at any point since Election Day for all those reasons you constantly list. They keep losing in court over and over and over, and then just shrugging and trying the next idea that then also loses in court. They're facist, morons, and losing.

For real. My worst case scenario in November ‘24 had me spiraling into classic old-school despair, what with the wailing and gnashing of teeth. What we’ve dealt with so far is downright tame compared to even the median of worst-case scenarios from the people I knew.

Every time I feel relief that some horrible thing that was rumored to happen isn't what's happening, I'm also hit with this huge sigh of exasperation because sure, it wasn't the horrible thing, but it's still just so goddamned dumb.
