Please do not assume that the laws are on your side. When it comes down to it, abuse and disaster will happen long before you ever have the opportunity to go to court over it, and long before anyone will prosecute someone for harming those you protect.

You'll have to keep careful eyes on newcomers this year, especially single white men. You'll have to do this before you think you have anything to be watched or spied on for, and you'll have to extend particular attention to them while keeping them from the more vulnerable members of your church.

You will have to talk to your congregation about protecting the vulnerable in their communities, and the possibility of being arrested or dying for it. You will have to discuss whether you can keep funding missions programs abroad, because they're needed here (they always were).
