Sternenko - I talk to Ukrainian soldiers weekly, and told them I donate to Sternenko, they said it was a good choice.

Nuanced? You said there are Nazi regiments, which is just patently false, and that there is an authoritarian regime, both of those statements are factually inaccurate. I lived in Ukraine for 10 years. I know Kremlin propaganda when I hear it. I have friends in Azov, they're more liberal than you.

Really? Still on that trope? Ukraine's President is Jewish, the Defense Minister is a muslim, as are most Crimean Tatars. Ukraine also supported Syrian independence from the dictator, Assad, who slaughtered his own people. The new Syrian president, who fought for Palestine, is supported by Ukraine.

Thank you! And for those who can, please donate directly for drones, every little bit helps.

Luckily Trump doesn't control Ukraine...even if Trump withdraws all military support and intelligence sharing, and all platform support, unless the US joins Russia militarily against Ukraine, Russia will still lose.

I don't disagree, but Ukraine has defeated Russia's stated aims, so is in effect losing. So, is it that Zelenskiy successfully asked for help in defeating Russia? Or is it that Trump sees Russia as what should be a major player because it suits his vision of oligarchs stealing from their people?

We all have a seat at the table, we don't need to bow down to this false idea of 'realism.' I find that donating for drones helps when I read inane untruthful nonsense like the posts from the US president. We also need to find common cause and stick with people who share our values.

Morning thoughts (5/5) ...writing we have algorithmic amplification of ideas that try to divide people and get them to scream at each other, it builds the most engagement, it also serves to keep us occupied, while those very same digital overlords use that attention to hoard wealth. Depressing?

Morning thoughts (4/5) ...publishing and platforms like Spotify, the democratisation of publishing has had unintended consequences, and people are using these platforms in unexpected ways, streaming fraud in the case of Spotify, or playlist domination, in the case of major labels, and with...

Morning thoughts (3/5) --> In the past we had this kind of gatekeeping with the publishing industry, if you wanted to be a writer you needed to find a publisher, very few self-published books succeeded. Now, in many ways, we have democratised writing, but in much the same way as with music...

Morning thoughts (2/5) --> If you don't have followers you feel like you're shouting into a void or that your ideas aren't worthy, whereas the digital overlords, the very few who own large social networks can control the narrative, post divisive content or control societal pathways.

I don't need to look it up, because it doesn't exist. I can however recommend you the excellent book by Serhiy Plohkiy The Russo-Ukrainian War, whick details Russia's attempts to subjugate Ukraine from 2003, starting with the blackmail of Kuchma. AMA I lived in Ukraine for 10 yrs I speak RU and UA.

What treaty are you referring to? There was never a treaty like that. There were multiple agreements between Ukraine and Russia that Russia violated, the most serious being the Budapest Memorandum. NATO is a consensus organisation, and Russia is not a member state. i.e does not get a say.

Morning thoughts (3/3) --> Training yourself to speak for five minutes on any given subject seems to me to be of great personal benefit.

Morning thoughts (2/3) --> When technology is so easily used to manipulate people, we should regulate the use and development of that technology.

Can probably relate, although I've already done the married and children thing too...well done!

(5/5) withdrawal from Ukraine and a payment plan to make reparations to Ukraine. The US and Europe could do this together with Ukraine, but they are still afraid of this megalomaniac putin and the nuclear blackmail he consistently waves about. If you want to help, donate for drones, do something.

(4/5) killed or incapacitated, 10k tanks destroyed, 20k armored vehicles destroyed, the list goes on. While the US have donated significant amounts, it pales in comparison to the sacrifices and war effort of Ukrainians, Putin is in real trouble right now, and the focus should be his cont...

(3/5) going to be involved in a peace process. Putin's original plan was a 72 hour special operation to decapitate the Ukrainian government in an operation similar to the Soviet invasion of Czechoslovakia in 1968, it has been a monumental failure, we are nearing 1 million Russian troops cont...

(2/5) As someone who lived in Ukraine for an extended period I find the level of awareness about Ukraine and Ukraine-related issues has increased dramatically due to the full-scale invasion of 2022. Despite this it appears that the press and others still think that only Putin and Trump are ...cont
