I always expect the worst so I won't be disappointed. That being said, I came here for a more positive social media experience.
After 20min (actually probably 5sec) the step-father cracked. Everyone else started laughing. I share this to say, to me, the most hilarious jokes are the ones that start with a cringe and end with a laugh. So, Bill (@realtimers.bsky.social), please rethink how you treat your audience's reactions.

Probably 8-10 people at the table. I had a conversation with a lovely couple who had a daughter they thought I should meet. I asked the father, who was the step-father, if the daughter was "hot." Silence. I mean, dead silence, where I started rethinking about my life choices. No silverware noises...

Ha! I love the helicopter pilots couldn't fly over the overpass. They were like, "Oh well, I guess he got away with it."
