I think they know facism has bad PR, Fox has been railing for years that whatever the libs do is facist, so it's easier to just.. not. Their base will blindly follow them and not actually think about what any of these things mean, so why take the PR hit for being honest for a change

Some of them attacked ObamaCare because it got labeled ObamaCare rather than anything actually in the ACA.

Have you checked out DevilutionX? It's a fan port that uses the files from the original game and adds some fixes and QoL, and the changes are toggleable.
