and like i got into vocaloid (technically utauloid), experienced some of the greatest games of all time (celeste, shadow gens, rush, brc, jsr), i was in a relationship for a bit and youtube was doin really fuckin well and the country wasnt on fire yet just i miss it i miss it so much

fuck it vent time so i realized that so far the greatest time of my life has been like july 2024 to feburary 2025 because just so much fun shit happened and i went crazy at the symphony with my friend and i met alot of really fucking cool people and it was the year of shadow and sonic 3 hype

alot worse stuff has happened since this and said stuff is definitely illegal bro omfg i hate venting cuz its cringe asf but am i ever apathetic towards life rn i have 3 escapes, animating, chiikawa, and my fantasies about big hairy men but fucking god i dont wanna live in a world like this dude

ive also discovered a new way of figuring out when its time to stop animating and its when my back hurts like shit and id rather spend 10 minutes talking about nothing to no one instead of finishing my shit so im gonna put on the pointlesshub transformers g1 vid and finish up and sleep

also ive started doing this fun thing of watching movies (especially old movies) and like trying to guess how they were shot which was something i did before but now that im taking a film making class its like amplified it and has made the game alot more fun because ik shit now and its easier

it like kinda opened my eyes a bit like took me outta my bubble and made me realize that to alot of people animation is just an impossible mystery and that its not considered normal too know the intricacies of animation and how it gets made or to recognize an artists signature style of doin shit

and animation history like i was talking with someone abt like waits between anime episodes and they were just completely unaware of the animation pipeline and shit like they knew that it required some form of drawing but like how it actually moved and how impact frames work they were just clueless

kinda on topic but i dont get why ppl always treat self taught animators like a big thing cuz it is not hard to learn animation its hard to do it really well but learning it is incredibly easy but that also could just be because like the general populous doesnt know the ins and outs of animation

unfortuently toonsquid is very different than procreate like idk it just feels different to draw and animate with like no shit it does but like fundamentally the way it feels to draw with either is different and i dont like different but i will use toonsquid eventually

or any goofy things that happened while making the thing which idk i might do one on the christmas special cuz its basically a short film kinda if i feel like it but idk i also really enjoy character limits oh boy how i love character limits on websites also i bought toonsquid ill use that sometime

i feel like an old person except instead of like cars or the history of country music its simpsons hit and run and alex lennen the wall video but something ive always known ive enjoyed but im glad i got to do it again is listen to ppl talk abt making shit and just their process
