Window dressing that did very little, hmm? Is that what we're calling bias, tokenism, and blatant discrimination (among other things) now.

Kind of hard to fix or improve anything if the system designed to do so is as easily corruptible and exploitable as what it's meant to replace. A system cannot be like the thing it's trying to replace, if you want it to do anything good.
