I feel you. Our cat has cost more in his four years of life then we had to pay to give birth to my daughter and all of her following medical care after that she’s 2 1/2.

Hmm maybe it’s linked, did he also have an extra toe/nail on one of his paws? Mine has a double dew claw on one of his front paws, tricky to cut but vet says it’s fine. 🤷🏻‍♀️

He’s four, but I think his breeding plays into his issues cause he’s also got cystitis in his bladder which is not common for younger kitties but he’s my first born bb angel and we love him with all his quirks & medical needs.😅(gentle reminder young cats can be a $handful$ even though it’s uncommon)

Mine will work himself into an asthma attack purring so hard he starts to cough. 🥲😅 very delicate balance between wanting to give pets and not push it too long to where he starts to cough.
