I managed to get the 5 gallons of Mexican black bean and bell pepper out the door! Snow and the back porch made an excellent fridge! I hope I get my clothes pin pail back !!

Mexican spiced black bean and pepper soup. This is roughly 5g gallons. Food safe buckets up cycled from Metro. (their muffin batters come in these). Done and kitchen cleaned up! Woo hoo!

Yes, it was far less $. It'll outlast any cupboards I'll ever put in! It holds stuff that's HEAVY like all these baking dishes, my food processor, stuff like that. I think I sent this pic before. This takes up little space vs what I can hold! That's just ONE drawer.

This is out of order but hopefully you can follow what I did and why. And now, I have room for a table and chairs, too! The ceiling beam was a result of 2 different ceiling heights - previous owner had a fire. Took out the wall and found that out. Beam disguises is and looks great!

2/ I could not match the cupboards. I needed something there and even adding un-matched cupboards, meant I'd have to replace the big window, due to its size.Couldn't match the counter top either. So, I added a tool box! This minimizing of the bathroom, gave me room for a table and chairs, too. And..

When I bought this house, there was a 'kitchen toilet'. I kid you not. And no where to have a kitchen table. So, I removed that non-load bearing wall, and minimized the main floor bathroom and added a door from another area. Photo of "kitchen toilet" door.

Veg prep work done! I don’t have a helper today so it’s unevenly chopped using the food processor. Homemade taco seasoning made too. Soup for 50 in process! Eeep!

I can’t do just one. Iggy is a little guy with a HUGE personality. From ‘hiding’ in a box with his favourite piece of ribbon to the drama at the vets the other day, he’s so much into a little furry package. He’s super affectionate and loving, too, always wanting to be picked up.

Tar spot is a fungal infection that affects maple tree leaves. Leaves can have one to several spots of varying sizes at a time,which may lead to premature leaf drop.Tar spot is a common disease in silver maple and red maple trees. This is a Manitoba Maple. You've got a silver maple there, I think.
