My takeaway from all the so-called in-fighting is that Republicans/TPUSA are trying to signal to both the racists and the old-guard conservatives that there’s room for everyone in their tent.

In the late 90s I had a realization that things weren’t quite as grim as my experience of the 80s and early 90s led me to expect. Didn’t make college any more affordable, though. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Some of us are just that cold, all the time! That said, my mammogram place has the cape style gown and they are pre-warmed.

It’s another one of those things that feels like satire, but isn’t.

My suspicion is that a good portion of online discourse around this topic is amplified by bad actors to sow generational division. That said - even though the rate of home ownership is higher today, rents, education/job training, and health care are much much higher!

We’re not quite there either. My best friend’s kid is and I get to ride shotgun sometimes. I assume the privates are sophisticated enough in their pricing strategies, but … 🤔

It seems like most of the private colleges are becoming more coy about their tuition rates the last couple of years, even if they know no one pays rack rate. It’s like they are embarrassed, wonder why?!
