Great collection! I'm more of a Splatoon fan than a Nintendo fan.
That means I'll be getting the NS2 Splatoon Edition (along with Splatoon 4) which I hope will be in 2026/2027.
I'm a big Pikmin fan too but I don't think the next game will be before 2030 xD

It might also be a case of "excitement fatigue", where you're being show all these possibilities but then it's not what you might have expected.

I agree with you feeling meh about it.
I think it's more of a "refresh" than bringing something new to the table. They know they perfected the console game, so why stray away from it.

Seeing how there is nothing "3" about Splatoon 3, this could very well work out.
The more I think about it, the better I think it is. (If they implement it well :/ )
Just increase the area for the current stages by 30%, but that doesn't fix the maps being bad.
I like odd numbers.

there's no longer any headroom to play splatoon in splatoon 3, so if you didn't learn how to play splatoon in the last two games, you're waiting until splatoon 4. and that's assuming they learned anything from this game.

there's no longer any headroom to play splatoon in splatoon 3, so if you didn't learn how to play splatoon in the last two games, you're waiting until splatoon 4. and that's assuming they learned anything from this game.
