I don’t respect any opinion rooted in any bigoted, hateful or otherwise anti-humanitarian philosophy. I believe we are all equals on this god forsaken rock and if you don’t agree fine, but go fuck yourself and stick it where the sun never shines. Anyways, thanks for your time, have a good one.

If we respect every opinion then we can’t have truly meaningful intellectual dialogue. Cause at that point its placating someone’s feelings at the cost of genuine dialogue. I also don’t mean that people shouldn’t be allowed to speak, I’m merely saying we should be more firm in what we respect.

If someone holds the opinion, for example, “Women should stay in the kitchen as they provide no economic benefit” then I would call that opinion, pig headed, hateful and asinine. At no point should I even consider respecting such an opinion, let alone how the person came to such a conclusion.

Don’t get me wrong, there is still capacity to have genuine conversation, even with some ignorant people, but a line needs to be drawn at what we allow to be thrown into the ring of intellectual dialogue. Like there are some opinions that are truly asinine. Well beyond what one could call ignorance.

John Locke was a believer in Natural Rights, that everyone was born with the rights to Life, Liberty and Property, (Jefferson writing Pursuit of Happiness to me is pure hogwash but I digress) and one day we can clear the ashes and live in this world without hate in our hearts and our minds.Take care

Please also understand I could be wrong, and I am not one to encourage violence beyond the means of self defense, but I also will not lie and pretend that I don’t see writing in the wall. It will be a long and arduous struggle, but maybe it’s the Pendulum swing that brings us into prosperity.

And in the aftermath, from the ashes The Phoenix of the people shall rise and build anew, starting the cycle of rebuilding again, but ideally unlike the Oligarchal style of the founding fathers, one able to include all and lay foundations for a stronger and better future.

Personally speaking, what I see happening, is another tragedy akin to the Boston Massacre of 1770 and that will light the fuse that will inevitably set off the keg of dissent and tension that has been building in this country for decades. A conflict potentially akin to the likes of Bleeding Kansas.

The rise to power of certain historical figures, (in my unprofessional non licensed opinion) were products of their time and nearly implausible to replicate today given advances in technology and communication. But it’s understanding that, that makes being vigilant and cautious all the more crucial.

To study history is to understand that what happened did happen ,and to understand why it did for the sake of future generations. History is supposed to be tragic, uncomfortable and shocking. If learning History doesn’t unnerve you in the slightest, then clearly you aren’t understanding it.

In time I’d like to imagine a happy middle ground will open. I encourage people to chase their dreams, but to also make sure they have strong winds to carry their ship through the sea of life. After all, sometimes a lucky breeze can fill the sails on even the most moonlit of nights.
