And one of the good things about the lack of quality is that scenes intended to be disturbing don't hit nearly as hard 8D

But it also includes as much loss of limb as FMA (but Her Fruitiness can grow them back, so it's not as much of an issue)

It is a mess of a show, but it's yuri trash, and as I've said before, yuri covers over a multitude of sins

Basically, it seems like this isn't the best set-up for gay cures, but it should be interesting nonetheless!

...that was really awkward and weird even in THAT movie. And it wouldn't be much better if Anna fell in love with the Dark Cure, considering that would involve ANOTHER weird age gap when she returned to her proper time

Granted, it was mostly because of context from the original, but good to see this show keeping up the tradition of giving compelling stories to bizarre cyborg monstrosities with ridiculous names

Did the first Trigun anime have some of those themes too, and I just missed it? It certainly wasn't the strongest theme in that series
