I have flown into DCA many times back in the days I was on the CRJ. It was a challenging yet fun approach. Many times I had helos flying underneath me on both the River and Mount Vernon approaches. It never crossed my mind that something like this would ever happen. RIP

Another day flying across the Atlantic during the busy holidays. Weather below is terrible everywhere. 3 planes crashed while I was up there for 9hrs: Norway, South Korea and Canada! They always come in 3! Happy New Year to all and safe travelling.
