Happy Thanksgiving everyone. I know we have a lot of work to do, and recently a lot we aren't thankful for, but I am very happy to be surrounded by a community on folks trying to make life better for people, animals, and the environment.

Occasionally something really catches your attention. This graphic novel of a story on the bears of Japan is worthy of a read. Wow.

Finally got my Subaru Solterra yesterday. It was shipped on the ferry to Sitka from Juneau. I hadn't actually driven it before and it was a thrill testing the EV acceleration. Saw a whale spout and everything. It must be a sign. Looking forward to reading the mountain of owner manuals.

Crazy day in Juneau today. Flew in at 5am. Got to the car service place to get my car. Bike rack and expensive bike on top are missing. Scoured the lot and found some parts and the way they got in. 2 hours later spotted some people spray-painting my bike one block away. Grabbed it back. 🤢🤮New color.
