WIP for my ko-fi membership tier headers.
A work in progress of the Digimon V-mon. Just his head, grinning and seen from a low point of view. To get that angle reading well on the left, I’ve had to cheat by having his ear furthest from the viewer float above his head just to get seen.

Here, have a Tsunomon! It looks a bit chalky because it’d just been sanded when this photo was taken. It’s clean now!

Last year I made a Hieronymus Bosch critter for my brother’s birthday.
A creature designed by Hieronymus Bosch that I sculpted and printed. It’s a kyphotic bird in a moomoo wearing a funnel on its head, has Disneyland Goofy ears and clapboards on its feet. Its beak looks like an ibis’s and is stabbing a letter. Another view of the creature from the side.

Oh yeah, I made a Punimon as well. Some Baby 1 Digimon can be depicted in an SD way like this. But enlarging the eyes of ones with black eyes wind up in Funko Pop territory, and I’m not a fan. I’ll still make em, though, to be consistent with the SD style of them all lol

I can’t get back to my printer until next month, which is ridiculous.

Last print I made was a commission for my friend @draktheone.bsky.social who wanted a Squonk; a “fearsome critter” from US folklore that is a wrinkly pig thing that constantly cries over being a wrinkly pig thing.

New sculpts up in shop!
Burgermon, a Digimon that looks like an axolotl wearing a burger hat. It’s carrying a toppling stack of bao buns on a tray in its right hand, and one loose bao bun in its left. Has the loose bao bun fallen off the stack? Burgermon clearly works in hospitality. Please don’t hand food out to customers with your bare hands. Use gloves and tongs or something or you risk a bad Yelp review or have awful customers being rude/ aggressive! Pusurimon here is a baby hedgehog Digimon. It’s got little fangs and big shiny eyes. A jolly looking thing!

Did some more painting practice today, just trying to paint within the lines and glaze a gradient for the eye. I’m gonna have to start over to paint this sculpt properly cos it’s not sanded/ primed. But still! I’m pleased with it.
The Digimon “Nyaromon” as a resin 3D print. It looks like a limbless blob with feline features such as ears and a tail. It’s got big, shiny eyes and a zigzag grin. It’s looking to it’s left, kinda mischievous. It’s mostly grey and unpainted, except for its left eye, which I’d spontaneously decided to practice painting on. Two big white highlights, black pupil and outline. There’s no white sclera, it’s just a gradient of orange gradating to red towards the top. I’m pretty proud of it all for a first try!

My own cat, Fujin, as a Palico wearing Espinas armour. I wanted that old Kamen Rider look. He’s not had a proper photo yet because he requires a stand to support his weight.
All these Palicos were gonna have their weapons, too, so this guy’s sword was gonna be attached to his back.
A cat (based on both a Palico from Monster Hunter, and mu very own cat) wearing motorcycle-styles armour and helmet. He’s got his hands on hips, and head tilted with a sarcastic expression. So sassy! The figure is primed black ready for painting.

Messy, of course, but just testing some paints out on this slovenly lad. I’ll get round to painting him and the other up eventually. I also realised I’ve not shown the first Palico I made, based on my own cat.

The cowl hangs down like a poncho, and he wears a waistcoat under it. He sits upright, like a weird little man as some cats do.

Dinomon WIP
Dinomon, a giant dinosaur Digimon that looks a bit like Godzilla. It has a perpetual glare and its forearms are on fire. This is a work in progress of an upcoming mini figure I’m making of it. It is taking ages. Only its face and right hand are finished.

Done a Gomamon! And now I need to do a Patamon and the Time Stranger trio will be complete.
Gomamon! The seal Digimon. If seals didn’t have noses, had large floppy bunny ears, mohawks, and their arms were weirdly vascular. It’s still cute though! It’s got big, sparkly eyes and a cheeky fanged smile. And it’s tilting its head cos it knows it’s cute, which is a bit twee now that I think about it. Oh well! This is a 3D print, and because it’s unpainted the figure is just plain old grey resin. It’s placed in front of a blue backdrop to make it stand out a bit more!

Togemon is basically done now. I’ll add it to the store this evening.

Togemon and Gomamon fresh outta the printer!

Gomamon needs another print. - Increase his size by a couple of mm and tilt his head more to sell the pose. Still I’m pleased with these prints compared to yesterday’s failure!
Togemon, a boxing cactus on the left. And Gomamon, a seal with a mohawk on the right. Gomamon’s size needs increasing by a few millimetres. Both prints still have the support struts attached to them as they have just come out of the printer.

Uhh here, have a Hopkinsville Goblin! I’m in the slow process of trying to get UV paint to stay on consistently. It involved lots of sanding and hoping for the best, hence this blotchy (but still kinda cool!) glowy version.
Hopkinsville Goblin in normal lighting. It is mostly white, but you can see from its big dome and absolutely ripped pecs that it is partially covered in glow in the dark paint. Hopkinsville Goblin in the dark! Its glow in the dark paint has been laid on very thick in areas to give it a healthy green glow! It probably brings love and we are right to kill it.

One final addition of purple around the vein on Agumon’s arm. Didn’t glaze this time, more like a layer. I’m pleased with that colour combo, I’ll go with that.
Agumon’s arm has a vein that now includes purple in its recesses. It’s supposed to contrast with the bright yellow/orange of Agumon’s body.

Here’s a new bit of glazing practice today on Agumon’s vein. I’m getting more used to being patient with it and using less medium and pigment.

More subtle than previously, but I have a tendency to overcook the pasta.
