Oh it's still worrying for sure. Just gotta hope between the rest and Carbs making adjustments that it doesn't keep getting worse since no amount of being opportunistic is too sustainable long term. Either way, it's nice to see them buckle down and get wins so many different ways for now

Watching the game last night, they felt very much like the pens (ew) during their back to back run. Very much opportunistic, with good enough team defense to get a win. Hopefully it's just the exhaustion of the schedule and after the break they come back hot again

They'll get blown out a game or two this season, but the panic isn't there as much. There's a calm, assertive quality about their play even when down by one or two. The buy in is great this season and it's fun to watch even when it's not with a win

The litmus test will be if they do better w/o him, how much better it looks and what changes once he's back in terms of how long he's on the ice for it. There's still some benefits for him to stay on (goal right after the PP ended) but overall it being too stagnant is an issue and he contributes
