I just realized you don’t like any of these games I’ve mentioned. So for you, probably October/November (GTA6, Switch 2 release)

Feb = monster hunter wilds, like a dragon pirate one and AssassinCreed Shadows. MGS3 remake also rumored.

I presumed M&L was a remake? So it’s a brand new game based on an old IP?

Not played the original. Was the section you speak of also in the original?

I’ve enjoyed these for such a long time, they have helped me get better at providing feedback for other artists as a lead. Like you say, I’ll often just listen in the background. It’s such a rare and unique resource, thanks for sharing.

I've worked out that over my 20yr career I'm at about 20 released games vs 30 cancelled games. It's actually the topic for episode 5 of my podcast (due 26th Nov) where I ramble about the negatives and positives of cancelations. ('game artist walkies' Spotify/Apple). Hi btw - good to see you here!

It’s a tricky balance. Too early and it gets in the way of artistic exploration and freedom. Leaving things too late however is a snowball effect that affects momentum of visual progress whilst you find/fix issues. It’s all about defining a review process that works for both artists and producers.
