Put about 10 hours and got to day 30, and it just isn't for me. I do see that it definitely clicks for a lot of people though. Good stuff

One can't deny the studio closures and layoffs, for sure. That just seems like putting blinders on and ignoring that we get more quality and variety of game releases than at any point in history. Sure, some parts of "AAA" are struggling, but they've had success this year with "AA" games.

Shawn Layden always comes off a bit alarmist these days. The definition of AA and AAA is also too nebulous. What most people regard as AA these days seems to be, to me, a AAA with a budget somewhere between 50mn and 100mn dollars. 😅

People aren't talking about the Xbox consoles they're talking about the brand. People are still talking about the Switch and the non-stop anticipation of the Switch 2.
