Took car in for maintenance and was told needed brakes. They started on them before authorization and now I’m without a car. I won’t be able to work until tomorrow. Need help staying housed bc I missed a whole day of work. Any help is greatly appreciated

True story.
Seven-panel comic depicting me toiling away at the difficult task of drawing comics, considering quitting, and a rather conveniently received email from a 5th grader that encouraged me to continue. Comics can be hard work, often with setbacks and challenges, but the inspiration they might give to others can make all the toil worth it.
