It's not exactly hyperfocus. I wasn't really clear in my reply. Sometimes I think maybe it's just path of least resistance. Right now painting is the path of least resistance until I need a break. I get an idea or inspiration and go with it until it plays out. Then I look for my next fix. 😏

It's cyclical for me. I tend to go hard on one thing for a while, take a break and then see the next shiny object, go all in for a while until the next shiny object. I eventually go full circle and come back to the start.

That's true but not knowing doesn't mean it's strong, healthy mental state.

I've stated this position before and was called an ageist. I'm 67 years old. I don't believe any of these people my age or older can live up to the rigorous demands of government. Not ageist, so fuck that. We need people like AOC and Pete Buttigieg to move us forward. /2
