More on cars. If you park your car up against a wall or another car so you can’t exit your driver side door you are completely immune. Use this to get some easy rest in on the road. Be careful about waking up surrounded with zombies though cause driving through tightly packed hordes is awful.

The most important thing to know about sandbox settings is that if you ever hear someone criticizing a sandbox option choice they are a LOSER who doesn’t understand zomboid. Play with low population settings. Play with high loot and high endurance recovery. Zomboid is great because it’s versatile.

If you are really desperate to get through a wall and you don’t have a sledgehammer, you can burn a section of a wall down, put it out and then climb through the burnt wall section. This is great for getting into gun stores but is obviously high risk and I’m not sure how new fire spread works lol

Killing zombies (in build 41 at least I haven’t confirmed for 42) inside buildings will often get you the key for that building. I will often bring small groups of zombies into police stations to try to get a key spawn for the armory.

Also check corpses and the ground around cars as well as any buildings a car is parked outside of you have a higher chance of finding car keys there. Also check glove boxes and now apparently car seats as I’m seeing items spawn in car seats whereas they didn’t in 41

Sorry I shouldn’t spread false info you can see your body heat but your fatigue number is hidden and I think it’s very important to know your exact fatigue number. I have the mod I use attached I highly recommend it when it is updated for 42
