Christian. OIF vet. Former Republican. Patriot.
I'm calling for a total shutdown of universities radicalizing students until we can figure out what the hell is going on.

This is absolute rubbish. It is just an attempt by people on the left to justify calling people Nazis at every turn. Progressives can continue believing they are virtuous as long as they demonize every opponent to their way of thinking. It's just natural consequences then, right?

Agreed! I 100% agree with you on stores doing this.

Now this is getting good. Unfortunately I have a busy morning, but I am going to revisit this later today.
June 24, 2025 at 2:24 PM
Absolutely not. Go read the book of James for that discourse.

However, you are only exploiting the Bible for your own politics.

Jesus was neither a socialist or a capitalist, which is why your premise is flawed from the start.

Capitalism and liberty came forth from a Judeo-Christian world view.

You have also passed over the most important part of Jesus's statement. "Come, follow me."

Your focus is on the rich man's possessions. Jesus was after his heart.

No matter how charitable you are, you do not reach heaven without following Jesus.
June 24, 2025 at 2:15 PM
Again, you have completely missed the point of this story. You are skipping over verses 25 & 26 which point to the deeper meaning here. By your flawed understanding, we are saved by works, which is exactly what the rich man was hoping for too. This is why Jesus came after him at this point.
June 24, 2025 at 2:04 PM
[25] When the disciples heard this, they were very astonished and said, “Then who can be saved?” [26] And looking at them Jesus said to them, “With people this is impossible, but with God all things are possible."
June 24, 2025 at 1:57 PM
[23] And Jesus said to His disciples, “Truly I say to you, it is hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven. [24] Again I say to you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.”
June 24, 2025 at 1:57 PM
[22] But when the young man heard this statement, he went away grieving; for he was one who owned much property.
June 24, 2025 at 1:56 PM
[20] The young man *said to Him, “All these things I have kept; what am I still lacking?” [21] Jesus said to him, “If you wish to be complete, go and sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me.”
June 24, 2025 at 1:55 PM
[18] Then he *said to Him, “Which ones?” And Jesus said, “You shall not commit murder; You shall not commit adultery; You shall not steal; You shall not bear false witness; [19] Honor your father and mother; and You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”

Matthew 19
[16] And someone came to Him and said, “Teacher, what good thing shall I do that I may obtain eternal life?” [17] And He said to him, “Why are you asking Me about what is good? There is only One who is good; but if you wish to enter into life, keep the commandments."

What corner would that be? The one where you misinterpret the Bible to make it sound like Jesus was aCkShUlLy a socialist? That corner isn't real.
June 24, 2025 at 1:34 PM
"Cope harder" is the refrain of someone who just lost an argument.
June 24, 2025 at 4:42 AM
No they don't. They pretend to. It's tyranny with a friendly mask. The further a country moves from the free market, the further it moves from liberty.
June 24, 2025 at 4:04 AM
Umm, liberty, freedom, the pursuit of happiness. The opportunity to determine one's own path without the interference of government.
June 24, 2025 at 3:41 AM
Are you kidding? Real capitalism (not the bastardized version we currently have) has pulled more people out of poverty than any idea in human history.
June 23, 2025 at 9:27 PM
Jesus warns us of the dangers of wealth but it is not a sin to be rich by itself. This is why the Bible says the LOVE of money is the root of all evil.

Socialists hide their envy under idealism. The obsession with class warfare is just as sinful as someone who worships money over God.
June 23, 2025 at 8:31 PM
He told that to one individual, and (as usual with socialists) you have missed the point of that encounter. Jesus challenged that man not because he was wealthy, but because his wealth was an idol, he valued it more than he valued serving God.
June 23, 2025 at 8:27 PM
How about the idea that we are called to personal charity? Jesus challenges us to give of the time, talent, and resources that God has blessed us with. Private charity used to be a cornerstone of the free market.

Socialists have twisted this. They think it is charitable to force this on others.

This is quite the game you like to play. All you do is pivot until someone gets tired of your childish responses. This allows you to get the last word and walk away thinking you have won. So here it is. Give me one more meme because I have more important things to do.
June 23, 2025 at 1:34 PM
Oh no. A liberal is accusing me of racism. This is so shocking.
June 23, 2025 at 1:25 PM
You are mistaking invaders for sojourners. Again, you are an atheist presenting cherry picked verses from the Bible without context or understanding. You think the Bible is fiction but want to exploit it for political points. You are only looking to justify your hatred of God.
June 23, 2025 at 1:00 PM
You're a persistent troll, I'll give you that.
June 23, 2025 at 12:31 PM
Imagine a person so vapid that their only form of communication is memes made by other people.
