CAP has been working with Greenhill School for a few years. During this time students have taken part in the Young Health Champions programme and organised a wellbeing festival, funded by CAP. Watch this video to find out more about our partnership.

Thanks to all the CAPs that have submitted their nominations for the CAP awards. We are always so impressed with the quality and breadth of the work being carried out in communities.

We'll be announcing the winners at the CAP Awards event on March 2nd.

In December, CAP funded a project at the Knaresborough Community Hub, supporting a new kitchen space that creates positive activities and informal education for young people in an area affected by street drinking and alcohol-related litter.

This year we have launched more than 50 new CAPs. From Cambuslang in Scotland to Whitstable in Kent, communities across England, Scotland and Wales are now benefiting from partnerships that have a real impact on alcohol harm.

Young people in Torbay were very lucky to take part in DJ workshops thanks to funding from Asda's Innovation Fund. Asda are one of CAPs long-standing funders and we are very grateful for their support.

We were deeply saddened to learn of the news yesterday of the passing of Baroness Helen Newlove, CAP’s first Chair from 2011 until 2014.

Last year’s CAP of the Year (England) - Fylde CAP - proved the power of partnership in tackling underage drinking and youth anti-social behaviour.
