Once news stations began reporting about Lysandre firing the ultimate weapon, it jogged Vivi's memory and after that, she was able to remember her life prior to ending up in the modern day. Due to the mega energy flowing through her veins, Ange's excess mega power impacts her negatively, ranging from mild discomfort to outright pain depending on the amount of mega power nearby. Some time in the six months prior to Legends Z-A, Vivi travelled to Lumiose, seeing if she could figure out what was causing her occasional discomfort. It was here that she would encounter a rogue mega Pyroar, trying to calm it down herself but realizing pretty quickly that this was the source of her discomfort as, in the direct presence of a rogue mega evolved Pokemon, the pain was practically unbearable. During this encounter is when she would finally be reunited with AZ and be taken back to Hotel Z so he could take care of her whenever the Dark and Nefarious rogue mega discomfort would hit her."
