It isn’t reading. It is listening. It has its own set of skills which use a different sense organ to access meaning. Reading requires eyes. Braille requires touch and audiobooks requires hearing to access meaning. Only one is reading.

Very true, one is accessed through the eyes (reading) and one through the ears (listening)
