I am proudly owned by a 4-year-old Jack Russell named Q. Find me hiding in gardens, roses, ferns, woodlands, fields, trails, libraries, old houses, and broccoli patches.
Jesus weeps.

Patriots. Stay safe. Stay peaceful. Stay powerful.

It is working. My head is exploding. I'm exhausted. I don't know what offends me the most. I don't know what scares me the most. I live in Edvard Munch's scream world. It really is just too much.

No, it is a personal tragedy for everyone in this country who cares about the direction the world is heading.

We just planted a grouping of them, next to aralia cordata. We plan to underplant with nepeta. They are very open and one of the better roses for pollinators. The name is fabulous. Can't wait to see what she does.

It is on my 2026 list. Thanks!

Beautiful. I have quite a few DA roses, but no Bathsheba. Is she difficult in any way? I am lusting after Dannahue, but have not been able to get my hands on her/him.

You need to get your priorities straight and put belly rubs at the top of the 'to-do list'.

An applaudable effort - effort begets effort, every bit helps. Thank you!

Thank you. Unfortunately, we lost our 'big' two months ago. We're adjusting, but our hearts are broken. I hope that you are having a great spring.

Thank you. I'll check it out!

That is the way that it should be. I can only imagine that his/her patient felt 'heard'.

Enjoy every moment, every oddity, every gray hair...I lost my girl unexpectedly last month. Yes, Roxy was 12 years old, but we thought we had time. Her ACL problem was misdiagnosed and it, unfortunately, was bone cancer. It was a privilege to serve her.

I cried watching AOC and Bernie last night. I cried watching Bernie in 2016. I hope that they are not preaching to the choir and I hope that we, the people, have the fortitude to acknowledge and follow them. Power to the People.

The plot thickens. It is too bad that this is our country and not a novel.

Low-hanging fruit. It is about the numbers. It is hard work to find people who should not be in this country and easy work to deport those investing family, heart, soul, life, and limb to be part of the United States. We have empowered cruel, stupid, assholes.

Great article. I see well-meaning people do some of the craziest things. I live in Massachusetts. We have a lot of good ideas. We plant a lot of trees. More often than not, funding, energy, and enthusiasm wanes well before the projects are self-sufficient,but we bumble on.

I am so sorry. META is not to be trusted at all.
