What’s the most important part of the corner?

Getting the motorcycle pointed towards the exit!

What are your feelings on “#mandlebars”. I.e. superbikes with tube bars?

I know for many of us it’s been a shit week. So here’s another photo of what matters.

This pic is meaningful because its me a week after getting home from my combat deployment. I took off for a few weeks on my motorcycle. Notice the boots and towel. Don’t judge me for no gloves. I have no excuse.

My old army SV. Man. I’d rather be riding a motorbike right now. You?

Are peaked helmets cool on non-ADV motorcycles?

I don’t know that I care because I love how well they work in 90% of street riding scenarios.

Why do so many motorcycle riders counter-lean into corners? It's genetics!

Remember, lean equals risk. The more we lean the more risk we are taking.

Remember, speed and low grip are basically the same. When we're going fast we want to use the same techniques as when we don't have much grip.

This year I did something I don’t do very often. I bought a new(ish) motorcycle. It had 170 miles on it. One ride and the PO was so terrified by it they traded it in on a cruiser.

Is it an opulent choice? Absolutely. Is the power terrifying? Oh yeah.

Regrets: nope! It’s amazing.

Motorcycles are OK

It even says so on the federal highway signs. So that means it’s the law.

When it comes to riding a motorcycle, vision is everything! Not just looking up, but thinking and planning ahead. The best riders in the world understand this.

So focus on getting our eyes up and looking for our exit as soon as possible. The exit is what matters most!

Okay. So How amazing would the Gulf/Trackhouse paint job look on an #Aprilia #motogp motorcycle? #motonews

Trail braking is one of the most misunderstood motorcycle riding techniques; opponents claim it should only be used on the racetrack. But the reality is trailing off front brake pressure past corner tip-in controls our speed, our radius, our contact patch and gives us unmatched control & precision.
