I was invited to follow "Naturist Community" here from Facebook. They repost content about "sissy sluts" and from a "Galley of Babes" - this is NOT naturist content, and not what we want in a real #naturist community. I suggest you block them.

User ‪@chetkresiakphoto.bsky.social‬ posts exploitative images of nudists without permission or credit, calling them classic photo from the world of #nudism that he has enhanced and restored. He has over 100 followers who follow me. It should be 0. Please report and block his account now!

I always check out new follower profiles. Today I found this "hilarious" meme as the most recent post by a new follower.

Not only am I blocking this moron, I'm also unfollowing everyone in my list who follows him. I have no patience for this nonsense. Never did, but now less than ever before.

Topfree activist Cleo from @toplesstopics.bsky.social is right again (or more accurately, she's still right). Women deal with double standards up and down the line, but the sexualization of female bodies is the core of the problem.

Sad to see that the Naked Nerd podcast is going offline. The Naked Nerd was always a positive, inclusive voice for #naturism. I wish him the best for the future!

It was a crisp -10 degrees C today (about 15 F I think?) and I did just a little bit of snow clearing in front of my workshop door. Much as I love being nude outside, I don't spend too much time out there in this weather!

I've been spending some time trawling through my local newspaper archives lately. The attached piece is from 1935. Nudists described themselves as: "Intelligent, thoughtful people, seeking happiness through healthy minds in healthy bodies."

A nice description - or aspiration - for #nudists!

This is a really important idea from #DavidLynch.

As #naturists, we shed society's rules about clothing - and shed many other, deeper constraints that keep us from being truly ourselves, truly human.

Imagination - what we *could* be - seems like an important part of this.

One of my favourite pieces of nude art: "September Morn" by Paul Chabas. I bought a poster if this painting in university - before I was a naturist. It was a bit embarrassing but the piece just spoke to me.

How did I not know about this!? @fcnaturists.bsky.social has opened a branch of the NEFRL - the naturist research library - at Bare Oaks! Fantastic to see. I hope to visit soon!
