🌙 At night, Cairn appeared to a murderer frozen in the icy road, regret heavy on his conscience. Disguised as a bandit, Cairn poured him a dram of scotch and turned him back the way he came. A reminder that every path leads somewhere — even toward consequence.

Bit of a personal post, but we lost Henry, the owner’s dog this weekend. Henry was the inspiration behind the Black Hound Tavern, and is even featured in Cantrip’s logo. He was a wonderfully wise and emotive dog and we’ll be grieving his loss. Long live the Black Hound. 🍻

We're seeing an interesting uptick in interest for our Hellscape candle! Originally released amidst the LA fires (and an economic blackout), this semi-spicy, lightly sweet scent blends persimmon and chili pepper. We think it's actually a best fit for Fall!

Pride Month is almost over! We decided to do something a little more complex than slap a rainbow on a candle. Our Pride: Backgrounds pair is a bespoke, intimate story told through fragrance, flame, and letterwriting. Made to order, and limited, so if you're eyeing them, grab them by June 23rd.
