Yes, I got a medical book lol. Having said that, it has REAL pics of REAL people on the worst day of their lives. It's not for the faint of heart. However, if you're interested in what medical examiners go through, as I am, you'll find it just as fascinating. #BookSky #Spitz #MedicalExaminer 👩‍⚕️

The first half of the book is about how to use your time & planning more efficiently so you're working smarter. The second half is about the importance of setting boundaries & having a work-life balance. Meh. Nothing I haven't heard before but YMMV. #BookSky 🤷‍♀️

Another spooky book from @adamtots.bsky.social ! I loved the first one & this one didn't disappoint. Fantastic twists & turns! #BookSky #AdamEllis #Horror

Ooh, this was good! Think an old timey radio show but modernized. Complete with sound effects, voice actors, & some clips from the ones who were involved. I was hooked! Highly recommend it if you love true crime! #BookSky #Audible #CrimeScenes

One of these classics that I finally got around to. The TLDR is that "the ends justify the means" & "it's better to be feared than loved." It's a how-to for leaders on how to be emotionless yet effective. I can see why the Mafia recommends it... 👀 #Machiavelli #BookSky

Sarah Knight helps you prioritize what you can & can't control. Triage that shit, baby! Release what you can't control, act on what you can, keep kicking ass & taking names! 💪 #CalmTheFuckDown #BookSky #NoFucksGivenGuide

Wow. These women were such badasses. They stood up against fascism when others refused. They were incredible, brave women who should always be remembered. #fucknazis #booksky

Oh my heart. Such a beautiful story about kindness towards yourself & others. And, of course, cake. 🎂☺️ Recommended for all ages! #BookSky #kindness

@melrobbins.bsky.social is a godsend. I love all of her books & I seem to read them right when I need to in life. Her friendly yet direct words of "let them & let me" have been buzzing in my ear all week. And lemme tell you, it's been life changing. #LetThem #BookSky

Ooh! So good! If you loved Mind Hunter on @netflix.com (bring it back!), you'll love this. They take the reader through the journey of setting up the BSU to helping local cops with a profile. It's a #murderino must! #BookSky #TrueCrime

My oldest & I have been slowly going through these books & watching the series on Netflix. As a bi woman, I'm sure I should be "more supportive" but it is a YA book where no one is straight. 🙄 ALL aspects of sexuality & gender are to be celebrated, including our allies. 🏳️‍🌈 #booksky #lgbtq

Alright, I'll start by saying I know people either love or hate Goggins. I'm neither. I think he needs an ass load of therapy & he gives off real Andrew Tate energy, but he's not as evil as Tate so there's that. This man needs to find out what balance is because OMG. No. 😬 #booksky #YMMV

Interesting book on the history & discovery of the chemicals on the periodic table. Some parts are dry, sure, but overall it definitely shows you the work these scientists went through. I left with a new appreciation for chemists &, of course, chuckled at some of their hubris. #booksky #chemistry

Took me a while but I finally read this book. It just confirmed how I must have been Danish in another life. And if shit keeps hitting the fan, possibly in this life. Go slow, enjoy the process, & cozy up with blankets. #booksky #hygge 🇩🇰☺️🍲☕

I absolutely loved this. So much so, I went through it twice this month. Howard Lupovitch is very educated & well read, while being entertaining. I felt like I was in a lecture (in a good way!) & I couldn't get enough. I learned a lot about my people which is wonderful. #judaism #BookSky

Fun, little, white elephant gift. Angry coloring, mad libs, puzzles, etc. Get some aggression out so you don't take it out on others. Even includes a makeshift letter to a politician. Sadly, only one copy.😉 #BookSky

James Randi is the GOAT. He exposes televangelists & their schemes, explaining how it's nothing more than simple parlor tricks. Book was written in 89 & still relevant today. Highly recommend for #exvangelical or #deconstructing Christianity. #BookSky

Think campfire ghost story mixed with childhood spooky games like "Bloody Mary" or "Light as a Feather, Stiff as a Board." Perfect little book for your friendly, neighborhood goth. 🖤😉 #booksky @luciapeters.bsky.social

I was hoping for more autopsy stories. Maybe that's just me being macabre. Each chapter starts with an autopsy story, she mentions their COD, & the rest of the chapter is how to avoid a similar fate. It's like 20/80 for stories to advice. Still love Dr. G! #booksky

Meh. I expected more & this was more like, "Machiavelli said this, but Solomon says that." Some good advice sprinkled in, but overall, nothing to write home about. #YMMV #BookSky

As a Type A person who feels like she falls short when she's on her period, reading this was refreshing. Kendra talks about using your cycle to your advantage & that, to me, was genius. And that's just a small bit. Go read it. #booksky @kendraadachi.bsky.social
