I'm not proud of the comment I made while asking questions (I should have left my 2nd sentence out), but the answer I got when I asked an "AOC for President" person what the President's job entails & why AOC is qualified for it explains why Bernie supporters think he would be their dream President.

Remains to be seen. They thought Trump either wasn't going to do many things he said he was going to do and he wouldn't implement the things in Project 2025 or else they didn't care because they didn't think the things he was going to do were going to affect or be done to THEM.
