I’m not sure who I am

I’m walking around and I see

simply
being

There isn’t a desire or care
Just a simple act of living

I’ve been caught up
In the rat race
Of perfection
Comparison

I’m lost
And this maze
I’ve been caught in
Is awful lonely

so many horrible things are happening, that I can’t control, so I’m going to take control of what I can. I am going to find joy where I can and I am going to do the things that bring me joy. I have stifled so much joy for so long that it may be some unlearning but I know it will be be your worth it
