I've "known" three different bumboat women in my lifetime. Poll Pineapple and Little Buttercup in Portsmouth Harbor, England and Mary Soo in Hong Kong Harbor BCC (British Crown Colony) (1967). Perhaps other Navy men & women share my memory?
