It's seems like an essential part of this detoxification is truth telling: when the truth is ugly the telling will be ugly. Currently, politeness has driven us straight into the paradox of tolerance.

Most people in America are just struggling to get through their work/school weeks, attending to the basics of living. They are passively and uncritically absorbing the memery around them.

Their fascism is violently misogynistic, with alot of dehumanizing rhetoric directed towards women, anyone non white, "illegal" (a dark and open ended term) lgbtq+,even disabled people.

They are very, very organized.
They use live chats in MMA video games to communicate verbally without a written record. This is where much active recruitment to their movement has been happening.

So I did some research. I picked up a little book called "kill all normies" that was the PhD thesis of a social researcher who spent alot of time uncovering these networks. My main takeaways:

Death threats. GIFS of literal murders. Some of the most appallingly racist things ive ever read. At the rate of like 50 comments per minute. The only possible explanation was that it had been reported to one of these 8chan groups and I was being targeted. I took my video down. I was scared.

In 2018 or so I created a short video about racial justice. it was online about 4 hours before I recieved an absolute river of attacks from white supremecists.

Be smart. Don't engage. If it shows up in your sphere "hide" or delete comments. don't angry react. EVERY ENGAGEMENT GIVES THEM MORE ACCESS TO PEOPLE. Absolutely STOP arguing with these people in the comment sections of public posts. NEVER USE REPLY. If you must comment, create a new comment.

This has been brewing for at least a decade, they are clever and organized and very tech savvy. It's totally unsurprising to me that the DOGE team is so young, likely peeled directly from 8chan.

It's disingenuous and dangerous. The volume of the noise created by this relatively small group of individuals through their account networks seems huge and lends the feeling that it's some big cultural movement.

If you already know about the Russian Internet Research Agency, it functions similarly and often in tandem with these other cells.

They seem to show up everywhere, they'll key word search posts to attack and copy paste the same carefully crafted comments. These are "extremely online" individuals who have made this their literal full time job.

It's delivered, en masse, to public platforms like Facebook by what I refer to internally as "the troll army" networks of accounts managed by individuals who create a TON OF NOISE.

When it's polished into a meme or info byte that seems "effective" to their goals (sowing fear and confusion, fake facts and distorted stories to rationalize racist attacks)

Its important to be aware that disinformation is created and moves through concentrated, organized groups that are mostly hidden from public platforms. (8chan, private discord servers etc)
