I love Willie Nelson, my animals, and clothes. I’m also a social dinosaur and am a migraine advocate. People can be layered, you know.
I feel like the first time was pretty seamless? I had tried every other cgrp inhibitor.

The second time had a denial hiccup bc medical team sent request to Optum rather than United (or vice versa, i can’t remember but it was silly & as soon as it was sent to right place it was approved)

You also can send the Live host money through gifts, so if you’re able & you want to help them out, do it. Or go to their bio link to see if they have a cash app, etc.

There are so many ways to help one another. This is just one of them.

Also fieldwork Lives are incredibly popular. They’re an easy way for the hosts to get views & $$ while teaching others where food comes from, earning them more respect & $$ (through views).

If you want to know where your food comes from & directly thank the person, watch a fieldwork Live.

Others use TikTok to raise money via views so they can afford immigration lawyers. Others use TikTok to share the good & happy parts of their life, Others use it to share critical info.

So, don’t put an entire population in a box. Instead, watch their videos & learn. It’s not hard.

Start following migraine advocacy groups like Miles for Migraine, Association of Migraine Disorders, National Headache Foundation, etc and you’ll learn far more about the disease.

Headache specialists are doctors who are highly-trained in treating migraine & other headache disorders. However there only are ~700 of them in the US.

General neurologists can manage basic migraine care but they won’t know about latest treatments/meds/findings like HAS do.

Hi - migraine is a genetic neurobiological disease. Some people with migraine can develop white matter hyperintensities on their brain-research about why people develop WMH still is mostly inconclusive however it’s understood that they’re benign.

January swan dive, with a side of guilt about spending so much time on the couch.

It’s the former. And they’re using language that targets TikTok’s product-driven algorithm to boost reach & streamline information.

Some of it’s silly/performative. Some is super useful. If you’re not used to TikTok’s space, you’re going to think it’s dumb. But it has a purpose.

Lawyers use this to explain what executive orders mean to the Native TikTok or the immigrant communities, so they understand if they’re currently at risk. Others use it to share where donations can be made. This may not be your way to help, but there’s no need to get your panties in a twist.

you don’t understand the tiktok platform or its cultural impact. Plenty of people targeted by ICE have smart phones & use the app daily. people on TikTok may see this information & share it w someone who needs to know it. people use this to alert non-immigrants of raids so they can alert neighbors.
January 25, 2025 at 7:03 PM
yes absolutely sharing an interactive map that announces ICE raids to those who may not know about it is definitely look at me behavior.

if you don’t find it helpful, you don’t have to engage with it. but others do & there’s nothing wrong with that. byeeee!

It’s actually a smart way to use TikTok’s product-driven algorithm to centralize critical information & tips for people who need it.

Some of it can be a little silly & some of it has been disrupted by those who don’t want to help. But overall it’s an effective way to hack the system.
