In third grade, I cheated on my history exam. In fourth grade, I stole my uncle Max’s toupee and I glued it on my face when I was Moses in my Hebrew School play. In fifth grade, I knocked my sister Edie down the stairs and I blamed it on the dog…
The sun came up and shot through the blinds….

I just had this conversation with a friend, for once all the pieces fell into the right places. To win the AL doesn't feel like enough heading into next season

Machine is an all timer and here in the dark makes me think of the hold steady. I know Rob mentioned a shadow album existing but never expanded on it. If I ask him one question I’d want to know what it entails.

The Hip’s last album was such an interesting direction. I’m sad we never got the chance to see how additional music from them may have evolved

I’ve always been a fan of:

A mass of tears have transformed to stones now
Sharpened on suffering and woven into slings

Thanks. So a game like bioshock for example or similar FPS would you guess that’s most likely why?

That seems like something I could live with

I’m looking to get back into gaming after not owning a system since the Wii. Eying a steam deck, and many of the games I would buy show as being playable as opposed to verified. How much config am I looking at for those types of games?

It’s a toss up between this and phantom power for me, but I don’t expect this to be the top choice for most fans

I still haven't come around on the idea of seeing a hip cover band, though your article intrigued me. I think I'd happily enjoy hearing one if I ended up at the same place one was playing, but can't bring myself to proactively seek one out. One of these days....

This was a great read. Man, I miss this band. I was fortunate to catch them live almost 30 times and obsessed over their setlists. The thrill of hearing a song you'd been chasing live for the first time was the icing on the cake. It took me so long to hear Thugs live, my fav tune!

As makeshift as we are

Never mind. Just saw the other post that they are double booked

I assume Filter is also on the bill as an opener? I’ve very curious to hear the 7 or 8 songs they’ll likely perform

They stick to a tried and true setlist of hits but Gavin still sounds good and has a ton of energy for being almost 60. He also looks great too

I’m actually seeing them this weekend. I’ve always had a soft spot for Bush. Their latest stuff seems to follow a similar format but it sort of works.

How much vinyl do you own? And what albums do you wish you had?

That entire album is incredible, but not one I revisit too often because of the emotion it elicits. Something, something inevitability of death......
