"Old phobia" is such a joke. I know plenty of progressive old people and some that aren't racist doing things inadvertently that society has just labeled racist lately. Give them a chance, educate, not discriminate

Tariffs are only treating one symptom of a curable disease. The American cost of living is out of control driving up wages and the price of domestic goods. It's kind of ass backwards

Universal basic income would make inflation worse without a maximum cost of living, namely, in the arenas of housing, healthcare, childcare and education. They could cap the costs legally or subsidize the difference. Either way would be preferable to tariffs.

Crazy idea: We have a minimum wage (which desperately needs to be raised) why not a maximum cost of living dependent on a person's tax bracket instead of allowing runaway inflation to happen?

Glenda manipulated everyone in the story to commit acts that would benefit her. Glenda wants to be the most powerful in Oz so she gets Dorothy to get rid of the wizard and take out Elphaba. Elphaba is just mad cus her sister was killed and her shoes were stolen. She's not evil
