The uncertainty has been toxic for me. I want to believe that good will prevail. But I know that you can't expect good. You have to fight for it. Stand up for each other, punch up and never punch down. Don't dream it, make it happen.

I lost both my sisters. I do remember, though, sometimes siblings take leave of their senses. We get into fights. Disagreements. Not enemies. Not always best friends. Our brothers and sisters down south will eventually sort their shit out. Meanwhile Canada will sure as shit stand up for itself.

Fun story about this shot from 2023. Moraine Lake was smokey from the forest fires in August, making all the photos eerie. I had just spent hours on a plane and in a car and I. Smelled. Terrible. First trip to the mountains and seeing high terrain everywhere around me was trippy.
