I don’t think there’s even a take you can make other than this one. Just the gleeful austerity, the hitlerian immigration policy, the cruelty towards minorities and the complete non-response from the corporate “left” is so gross and demoralizing. You’re not alone. Hang in there I guess

Non-artists don’t get it. And in a system in which art is so heavily commodified people’s understanding of the process is even more skewed. I’ve seen people complain about a 24 episode season of animation taking a year to develop.
