Old curmudgeon resentful that they have to join and learn yet another social media site.
I'm disappointed in you, Kara.

I've hated my tesla since long before it was cool to hate tesla.

But we bought it to reduce our footprint. Keeping it does that too. I hate this car, tesla, and mush, but love the world more so will stick with it until it dies. Or someone torches it for me.

A big advantage to induction hot plates is that I can set them up wherever there is an electrical outlet. So when cooking big meals like thanksgiving, I can set up a separate cooking station for family members to keep them out of my way. Since one is none, I keep a second hot plate on hand.

We live in a rental apartment with coil hobs. We pulled out the right two, put down a board with an induction hot plate and plugged into the stove's outlet. We use it for 90% of our cooking, occasionally moving a pot onto a preheated hob so we can use the induction for something else.

I don't see it on that screen but in Sept 2020 the MY had a microphone on the homescreen to access voice command.

Which meant the passenger could trigger voice commands.

Rough ride = unsteady hand. Solution to access buried feature? Voice command. This loss = the MY as an unfriendly family car.

Then go outside to the streets and start protesting, day in, day out. Fight. We can't believe you object when we don't see you objecting. Show us.

It is just trump, United Statesians vote for senators, governors, and representatives, and when possible, judges. All who enable oppression. FIGHT.

It would have been helpful to have learned this in Dec rather than March.

Although, TBH, at the worst of the buttons being inaccessible due to snow, I wasn't even on the sidewalk since I can't climb over the snowplow piles between the plowed sidewalk and plowed road.

I had never made the connection.

It is the "in-between" that connects communities together to form a stronger city.

Like you, I love the community events, but also loved the Help Santa parade and the sense of being with thousands of others all drawn together.

Grab every moment you can. It doesn't last.

Your picture reminds me of that warm feeling.

When you are as old as I am, this is what you'll remember when you see a little angel, not the overwhelming exhaustion I suspect you might also be feeling.

What I call the Second Amendment solution will solve the allies' problems. Without the cheeto, the US will descend into a hot civil war and no longer be able to spend its time focusing on destroying its allies.
March 6, 2025 at 2:58 PM
Do not underestimate how much those 'former allies' hate ALL United States of Americans.

Not just the Cheeto or Leon Mush. Add in all those brainless R's who primaried out non YesMen, and for all those brainless D's who thought "it can't happen here" even AFTER Jan 6, and accepted Biden for Prez.

It is up $100/share since 2024-03.

It's only down almost $200/share from the post election speculative peak. If those who invested last year sell on Monday, they still will have over a 50% return.

I hope those people take that profit before anti-mush backlash takes more of the gains.

Don't celebrate. It is one company without a fixed contract.

The Norwegian Government has released a statement saying Norway will continue to supply fuel:

Norway says it will keep supplying fuel to US navy after company calls for boycott
NATO member Norway will continue to supply fuel for U.S. Navy ships, the country's defence minister said on Sunday, after a call from a private marine fuel supplier to stop doing so in response to the apparent breakdown in U.S.-Ukrainian relations.
