I'm going to have to alter my route unless I want to adopt this cat. She and at least one additional cat are based at a house on a busy street; I can't walk to my destination past the house anymore, as I'm concerned she and one or more colonymates will try to follow me across a busy intersection.

It's always obvious when most of the guys attack party are gay, because none of them pee on the toilet seat, rim, or floor. The bathroom is clean.

La Bella's, 3rd Ave, Chula Vista. I've never had their pizza, but I can appreciate that they clearly hired an artist for this mural, and that said artist was clearly So. Fucking. Stoned. They painted through the worst munchies imaginable, praying for their pizza angel to deliver their salvation.

I made a simple sign; other people got a lot more creative. The person with the "NO KINGS! (Except king penguins!)" sign even had a full penguin kigu.

The fire's still in a low-population area, but it grew substantially overnight. This pic shows both the ashfall and the wonky light- the smoke plume is between us and the sun.

It's mostly on the other side of the mountain. It hasn't threatened any homes yet (just some antennae).
