Not sure if someone recommended The Black Phone already but it's my favorite! 'Sinister' is also really good (and has some of the best soundtrack ambience/effects ever).

It's a lot different from a sudden/unexpected death, especially as you get to see them relax pain free as the first meds kick in. They cross the bridge feeling nothing but love.

I was in the same situation earlier this year and while it is definitely really hard, it's a last act of love.
In my personal experience it also makes the whole thing a liiittle more manageable emotionally as you're able to have a proper goodbye and provide them with comfort as they pass.

There's always a next time, I think it will be better for me to just focus on getting used to digital tools again and most important of all, have fun while at it. Drawing is meant to be fun, not stressful.
