Copyright laws were fun back then. Same thing happened to Night of the Living Dead.

And a very simplified relay too, I’ve quite unsuccessful in digging through Bluesky’s source code (indigo) to truly understand ATProto

That’s quite a simplistic reading of the film. Though I don’t all agree with this analysis of the film, it touches on those details you mentioned.

Gender Troubles in The Crying Game
The Crying Game is one of the best films I’ve ever seen about identity, in all the messy complications..

Not to disagree on the overall point, but just a nitpick I don’t think The Crying Game depicts the trans character negatively or as a deceitful predator.

What they are doing to movies (shelving finished projects for tax write-off) should be a crime.

This will show a profile’s liked posts: handlerug.github.io/bluesky-like... Just keep this currently everything-is-public nature of AT protocol in mind. The team adding private features seems a really long way to go at this point afaik. Until then, there’s no DM, private post or any privacy.

Unfortunately it’s just the frontend hiding that for you. Behind the scene, everything anyone does on this app is public no matter what and there’s no privacy, because your PDS is open for everyone to see. I see it as the biggest drawback of AT protocol that they haven’t addressed.

Kinda sad the guy who made Godfather ended up going bankrupt and had to make films like “Jack”, all because of this one very bad film (sorry but I don’t think Coppola knew what he was doing with “One from the heart”, let alone betting his own production company on it).
