My first experience on this topic was also from reading The Picture of Dorian Gray. I first read it at age 15 and years later, while rereading it, was perplexed, wondering how it had had such a profound affect on me!

My Mother left me this book and I read it often. This morning this poem made me think of all the gentle poets on this app.

I’m going to read this book this weekend and sometimes I flip to the back of the book just to see what’s back there and this was super cool so I thought I would share it!

This poem by Edgar A.Guest reminds me of my Mother. She always pointed out the beauty of the landscape and the world in general as she drove us places! 😂She was an artist, of course!

I happen to be going through a journal and the description of what really happened when I choked to death was in it!
Here’s the story from my Mom when I was 28!

I have followed this artist for many years and finally have an art studio where I can make these little guys and design my own personalities hopefully to sell them someday soon. I’ve already sold my rendition of a wizard!

This was a life saving book for me when my parents died. The shock of them dying so close together drained my body of so many nutrients that my hair turned white overnight. Finding this book about sarcopenia was a God send!

My favorite book #8
WESTPORT
You may be seeing more about this book because my family came to this area in the 1840’s and retired into Westport, Missouri now basically the heart of Kansas City, Missouri. If you’re at all interested in visiting, this should be a book that you read before you come.

My favorite books #7
This book should have been #1!
It absolutely changed my life forever! I bought the early version of this book around age 40.
It’s basically telling you to find a job that you love and then the time will go by much faster and you will really enjoy your life!

My 6 favorite book. I would probably still be married if we had read this book!
