I think the reason the difference stands out so much to me is that the supposed missions of both Daredevil and Moon Knight are to protect the people of NY.

I don't really know about Moench or Sienkeiwicz's political beliefs but their art feels much more empathetic to the city than Miller. Miller's protagonists have a lot of interiority but he spares little time for background characters. They're just accent notes to highlight the piece.
