Just returned from such a special trip celebrating the last month of my nieces leukemia treatment and her 5th birthday. So fortunate to be Aunt Candy and Uncle Vaughn to this sweet girl & to have Billy and Madison as my brother and sister in law!

I have two almost 5 year old nieces and both of them decided on thanksgiving to refer to my husband no longer as “Uncle Vaughn”, but only as “Big Fella”. Not sure what kind of mafia they’ve joined but I’m a fan.

Please don't call what RFK Jr. and Jay Bhattacharya are going to do medieval. It's not medieval. It's nothing like the Middle Ages. People in the Middle Ages were happy to try all kinds of things to not die of the plague and if you'd given them antibiotics and vaccines they would have loved it.

In order to stay alive I have a monthly infusion treatment that costs about $17k a month before insurance. A lot of folks you know are fighting battles you know nothing about. The threats to dismantle the affordable care act are terrifying.
