One that isn't as heavy on the romance that really enjoyed was a Crown of Ivy and Glass by Claire Legrand and the second book came out last year was really good too!

Yaaassss you have to! If you like audiobooks I highly recommend the graphic audio ones with the full cast. It's like listening to a movie lol

I have only done one quilt so far and I used the temporary tape and loved having the binding stay in place while securing it on the machine!

Oh perfect I'm sure that will help with cross-stitch projects! I get so distracted by that when I do hand embroidery 😅 I'm determined to practice cross-stitch more this year, I saved your joy is resistance pattern to try next 😁

Excited to see what you make! I started machine sewing last year and hope to start learning making clothes this year. I imagine a serger will really make a difference in some projects!

I'm so glad I finally took the plunge last year to learn sewing besides hand embroidery. I truly feel I have found a community, I notice I have more in common with ppl besides just sewing in this community and it's so refreshing.
