Had a wonderful time visiting with young people throughout the district last week. Thank you to Mary F. Williams Elementary School and North Stafford High School for such warm welcomes.

The future is very bright!

As we celebrate one of the holiest days of Christianity, I am reminded of how my relationship with a loving God, a redeeming Christ and a guiding Holy Spirit has transformed my life. I pray this resurrection Sunday brings you joy, peace, but most of all LOVE.

So blessed to spend a portion of Founders Day with my dazzling, determined, distinguished, dynamic Delta sorors who serve in the General Assembly.

Women politicians face the highest levels of online threats of intimidation and violence. And those threats don’t just stay online…Ask Gov. Whitmer, former Speaker Filler Corn and any Black woman in Congress.

Moves like this show that our safety doesn’t matter to leaders.

So grateful to NBCSL for recognizing my work on Black maternal health. Over 800 Black state legislators represent more than 70 million Americans. I am humbled to be amongst these titans. People like Representative Laura Hall and others have shown me the way. I vow to honor them with my service.

Politically, there will be dark days ahead, but I was reminded this morning that there will be rays of sunshine. Virginia can be one of those rays, if we start fighting now to keep our Democratic majority. secure.actblue.com/donate/vahdc...

Our judges are elected by the GA. Over the years, I have fought to make this process more open and diverse. So it was an honor and privilege to "formally" welcome the newest GDC judge to Stafford. Congratulations to Judge Mayo Wilson and his wonderful family.
