My view is that there is a new rulebook in play for national politics. We’re in a transition period now where most folks are still assuming the old rules apply.

Today’s layoffs have been a tremendous shock to the system and I wonder what is going on under cover of this development.

@annegillies.bsky.social Equal information is important for integrity. Rules were bent tonight. How people filter, interpret, and pass along information is difficult to predict. Sometimes, but not always, it is important to check fb and Bluesky since dynamics of information flow can be helpful

R-Cubed ... Reason, Revelation, and Resurrection. I usually self-identify as an Evangelical Quaker since that comes closest to capturing this personal philosophy in my view, although I'm a bit heavier on the Deist elements than most perhaps.

And so three elements to my personal religious philosophy ... Reason, Revelation, and Resurrection (R-Cubed in the vernacular).

A description of Direct Revelation that seems pretty close to the Truth can be found at en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Direct_.... I especially like the LDS take on Revelation.

Voltaire ... check him out... a man of the 17th Century Enlightenment ... believed and wrote many things ... but in a way the first liberal ... believed in women's rights, freedom of expression and religious and political freedoms ... and for the most part disliked slavery ... author of Candide

Good morning, People,

Change is fine and healthy ... the pendulum swings ... rapid changes threaten to destroy the pendulum especially changes in societal norms and conventions, which can be destabilizing as checks and balances in the Constitution are abrogated.
